
Ruth Anne Mutrie, 50, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bruce, and children, Noah Mutrie and wife Ashley and Alexandra Mutrie and fiancé Jesi Monroe, and her grandchildren whom she absolutely adored, Beau and Jordan Mutrie. She is also survived by her four-legged friend, her oversized Yorkshire terrier, Biscuit. Ruth is also survived by six siblings, Robert Hannold, of Kansas City, Mo., Aileen Gram, of Syracuse, N.Y., Rebecca and husband James Adkins, of Biloxi, Miss., Richard and wife Amy Honnold, of Oak Harbor, Wash., Mary Sherba, of Carnegie, Pa., and David Danielle Hannold, of Alabama. Ruth was born and raised in Pittsburgh and was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Jean Hannold. Ruth's in-laws, Carrie Mutrie and John Mutrie, of Baton Rouge, loved her like their very own daughter. She was also survived by her family on her husband's' side, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon and Clay Harris, of St. Francisville, and their two children, Matthew and Nicholas Harris; a sister-in-law, Karen Mutrie, of Baton Rouge, and her dog, Jake; a brother-in-law, Brad Mutrie, of Baton Rouge; a sister-in-law, Rhonda Mutrie, of Baton Rouge, and her children, Johnny and Eric Mutrie, both of Baton Rouge. She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Johnny Mutrie. Ruth was an avid gardener, a great cook, fisher-woman, a Tiger, Steelers and for sure a Saints Fan " Who Dat?" as she would always say but most of all she was a lover of life. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Ruth was a proud graduate of LSU, where she also worked for more than 20 years. She was the coordinator of transportation for the AgCenter. Her extended family at the AgCenter, Knapp Hall, will miss her dearly. She will forever be missed and in the hearts of anyone who ever knew her. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Monday, March 29, from 11 a.m. until memorial service at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
