A native of Massachusettsand a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Ruth passed away at 11:30 a.m.on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet after a 20-year battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was 63. A graveside service will be held atLiberalCemeteryon Sunday, March 25, at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rabbi Stanton Zamek. She is survived by her husband, Henry Spielberger; two daughters, Daci Spielberger and Michell Minch; two sons, Charles N. Bombet II and Marc A. Bombet; a brother, Richard Silverman; and eight grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
