Sandra Spedale Pullam passed from this world leaving a beautiful legacy in the hearts of those who knew her, especially her beloved husband Stanley E. Pullam. The only child of Samuel and Frances Spedale, she was born in 1940. She attended St. Anthony School where she graduated as salutatorian and made many lifelong friends. She attended LSU before marrying and having three children; Francelle Acosta Theriot (husband Kirk Theriot), Gina Klein, and the late Fred J. Acosta Jr (wife Anita Lemoine Acosta), and adopted godchild the late Rita Miranda Frost (husband Steve Frost). Navigating life’s many seasons with grace and courage, she began a career at Albemarle Corp from which she retired. In 1990, she married Stanley E. Pullam, her devoted husband who cared for her lovingly until the end. She welcomed his children, the late David Pullam, Patricia Pullam Broussard (husband, the late Louis Broussard), Glen Pullam and Ken Pullam to her fold. Sandra was a rare and lovely soul who took so much joy from her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Dr. Lindsey Dietrich (wife Katie Demouy-Dietrich, son Elliot) Jacob Polk, Chelsea Pullam (son Theodore), Micah Theriot (wife Dr. Mary Tanner), Austen Theriot, Garret Broussard (wife Sarah Goodgion, son August) and Ryan Broussard. Sandra loved God, gathering with family and friends, gardening, cooking, and making a happy home. She was a member of St. Alphonsus church and a devoted Catholic her entire 81 years. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home will be on May 30th 2022 5-8 pm, 11000 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Mass of Christian burial will honor her life at St. Alphonsus Church on May 31st, visitation at 12:30, mass at 2:00 pm with interment immediately following at Roselawn Memorial Park.
