Sharlene Raye Scott Johnson

"Sharlene Johnson left this life to join her beloved husband of 52 years, Darryl Johnson, on March16, 2018, at the Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge. She was born 1944 and resided in Baton Rouge until moving to Walker in 1990, where she resided until her death. Sharlene devoted her life to her family. She was a dedicated wife, compassionate mother, committed grandmother, and loving sister. She is survived by three children, Darryl B. Johnson Jr. and wife Tamela, Springfield, MO; Jill Johnson Pearl and husband James, Walker, LA; and Dial S. Johnson and wife Debora, Los Angeles, CA. Sharlene had eight grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Trey Pearl, Kade Pearl, Kole Pearl, Jade Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Alexandra Johnson, and Joshua Johnson. She is also leaving two brothers, Walter Ralph "Dooley" Scott and spouse Pat, Raymond Scallan Jr. and spouse Kathy, and Tammy Deroche and spouse Norman. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Darryl Brent Johnson Sr.; her mother, Florence Bullock Scallan; her father, Walter Ralph Scott Sr.; her brother, Bobby Jean Scallan; and best friend and cousin, Carole Bullock Delaune. Pallbearers are Chad Scallan, Cody Scallan, Cory Scallan, Chuck Scott, Joel Scott, and Jimmy Carlisle. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Boulevard on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 11am until religious services at 2pm. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
