Sharon Ann Fowler Bayne, 57, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011. She was born in Bay Minette, Ala., and resided in Baton Rouge for 37 years. During her time in Baton Rouge, she volunteered her time with the Girl Scouts, Elon Cotillion and Episcopal High School. Sharon was also a beloved member of the Krewe of Romany and will truly be missed. Survived by her husband of 38 years, Eugene Bayne; daughters, Samantha Cherie Bayne Joseph and Stephanie Christel Bayne; and brothers, Arnold Fowler, Melvin Fowler, Michael Fowler and David Fowler. Preceded in death by her parents, Chester David Fowler and Annie Frances Fowler; and brother, Arthur Fowler. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.
