Sherrie O Lemings, age 61, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022. born January 9, 1961 in Gloster, Mississippi. Sherrie was employed with the Department of Justice for over 40 years. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved her dogs greatly. Her husband and greatest love Bob left her a short time ago and she is now rejoined with him. Sherrie is survived by her son, Robert Lemings III; and daughter-in-law Jill Haeske of Baton Rouge; brother-in-law, Tommy Lemings (Rebecca Lemings) of Denham Springs; sister-in-law, Juanita Lemings Day of Denham Springs; and her niece and nephews, David, Drew, Danyelle and Garrett. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lemings, Jr. and parents, Audrey Lee Owens and Mattie Miller Owens.The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at AMG Specialty Hospital in Zachary and Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
