Shirley Hinkle Bell a native of Kentucky and resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at her granddaughter’s home at the age of 71. She was a devoted Great-grandmother, grandmother and mother who loved her family. She retired as a dedicated RN from Earl K. Long Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bell, daughter, Pamela Seale and her mother, Dorothy Grey. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Heath, Angela Gourney and her husband Glenn Gourney, one son, Michael Heath, 5 grandkids, Crystal Heath, Ali Hamad, Heather Hamad, Chris Ferguson, and Kaitlyn Ferguson, three great grandchildren, Layton Brown, Tristian and Brayden Roubique; a sister Betty Leibert; a brother Kenneth Hinkle and his wife Mary Jane Hinkle. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 12 pm until funeral services begin at 2pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers it was her request that donation be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
