

Beloved husband, brother, father, and Papa, Steven Wayne “Steve” Chamberlain passed away March 12, 2026, at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge. Born in Baton Rouge on May 6, 1958 to Grady and Dorothy Perkins Chamberlain, Steve met his bride, Terry, in Baker in 1973, and they enjoyed nearly 50 years together.
He is survived by his sister, Sheryl Oubre; four children, Stephanie Landry, Kristy Chamberlain Giacone (Jason), Lisa Chamberlain Cleaver (Chris), and Steven Chamberlain (Kelli); 13 grandchildren, Tyler and Dalton Landry, Hannah and Noah Evans, Haleigh and William Turner, Landun, Abbie, Maddie, Leila, and Eli Chamberlain, and Lindsey and Wyatt Kuhn; 3 great-grandchildren, Khloe’, Shane, and Caroline Landry; as well as many nieces and nephews, and friends. Papa left this world after a short illness, but a long period of grief after the death of his beloved bride. There to meet him in heaven were his wife Terry, his parents, siblings Ray Chamberlain and Debby Evans and son-in-law Shane Landry. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice for their care in Steve’s final days.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, Chapel, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on March 19, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at Greenoaks Funeral Home, Chapel, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on March 19, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Final resting will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge.
