Steve Alton Weber

A retired detective with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office with 31 years service, he passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, atOchsnerHospitalin Baton Rouge. He was 61 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Survived by his wife, Jan Flint Weber of Baton Rouge; stepdaughter, Reagan Daniel and husband Wesley of Baton Rouge; stepson, Warren Johnson and wife Terri of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Marlo Hymel of Baton Rouge and Emily Hawbaker of Mesa, Ariz.; three brothers, Karl Weber and wife Carolyn and Kenny Weber and wife Ginny, all of Baton Rouge, and Dudley Weber and wife Shirley of Albuquerque, N.M.; four grandchildren, Cole and Jesse Johnson and Wes and Sydnee Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Georgia"Peaches" Weber; and stepson, Coleman Law Weber.
