

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Terry Robert Wilson, age 75, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
After 54 years of marriage, he leaves behind the love of his life, Kate Wilson. A marriage that was built on devotion, loyalty, laughter, and unwavering commitment. For more than five decades, he was the steady presence beside his wife; her partner, protector, and greatest supporter. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, shared dreams, and countless memories made side by side. Together, they built a life rooted in family, hard work, and faith.
He was a man of quiet strength and generous spirit, always willing to lend a hand or share a warm smile. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he took great pride in those he loved. He taught by example, showing the value of integrity, perseverance, and kindness. To know him was to feel welcomed and cared for. His presence brought comfort, his words brought reassurance, and his love left a lasting mark on all who were fortunate enough to share in his life. Though our hearts ache in his absence, we are forever thankful for the years we shared, the lessons he gave, and the love he so freely offered.
His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Catrene "Kate" Wilson; his children, JoAnna Byrne (Pat), Allison Wilson, Robert Wilson (Kadee); his grandchildren, Shane Byrn, Courtney Byrne, Chelsea Ashford (Jordan), Steven Ancona, Chandler Franklin, Dalton Wilson, Austin Wilson, and Dillyn Wilson; great grandchildren, Charlie "Cha Cha" Story, Emery Ashford, Briggs Ashford; Sister; Carla Wentworth and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Bill Wilson and Hazel Wilson.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815 on Friday, January 23rd, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
