

Born June 08, 1950 and passed on to his Eternal Home Sunday, July 14, 2013. A native of Chesbrough, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge and a current resident of Denham Springs. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judy Borne Davidson; daughter, Jennifer Marie Davidson; son, Thomas Henry "Tommy" Davidson Jr. and daughter-in-law, Faith; grandchildren who were the light of his life, Nathan Lachney, Kayleigh and Colesie Davidson; sister, Ann Wax; mother-in-law, Belle Humphreys Borne; sisters-in-law, Nannette Borne and Nancy Lato; brothers-in-law, William "Rusty" Borne, John Borne&wife Gayle, Leonce "Ouncy" Borne Jr.&wife Mary; aunt, Margie Harvell; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Ivy Thomas Davidson Jr.; mother, Camilla Davidson Hughes; stepfather, William F. Hughes; brother, Dennis Davidson; sister, Donna Lynn Davidson; grandparents, Ivy Thomas Davidson Sr. and Effie Mae Fluker Davidson, and Henry and Polly Ammons; father-in-law, Leonce C. Borne Sr.; brother-in-law, Guy J. Lato Sr., and nephew Jeremy Heath Borne. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 5:00pm to 9:00pm Tuesday. Visitation will resume Wednesday from 9:00am until the religious service in the funeral home chapel at 10:00am, conducted by the Very Rev. Vincent J. Dufresne, J.C.L., V.F. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Wax, Luster Hayden, J.J. Borne, Will Borne, Michael Borne, Guy Lato, and Virgil Worthington. Honorary pallbearers are Burlin Taylor and Richard Love. The family would like to thank Amedysis staff, Bryan, his physical therapist for the last 10 months, and nurses Donna and Erin. Also Dr. Mark S. Meyer, Dr. Vincent Cataldo, Dr. Leo Blaize III and OLOL physician's staff for their care and compassion. Donations may be made to Closer Walk Ministries, P.O. Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
