Thomas Edward Michelli

Thomas Edward Michelli, born February 17, 1942, passed away January 28, 2018. Tommy is survived by his wife of seven years, Annette Bellina and her children; his children, Lisa Michelli, Lynne and her husband John Lee, and Scott Michelli; a granddaughter, Jesika Lee; a sister and brother, Diane Michelli and Steve Michelli; a goddaughter, Devyn Michelli, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tommy is preceded in death by parents, Sam and Syble Michelli and his wife of 43 years, Carol Daigle Michelli. Tommy retired from Louisiana Department of Labor after 40+ years of service and AFL-CIO. He was a member of the St. Patrick’s Usher Society and recipient of the Charles E. Dunbar, Jr. Award. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and support staffs at the Baton Rouge General, 5th floor, Baton Rouge Rehab, and The Carpenter House. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Carpenter House, 10615 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70809 in Tommy’s memory. Pallbearers will be George Rome, III, Bobby Durnin, Steve Michelli, Rodney Michelli, John Lee, Paul Sparacino, and Billy Gautreau. Honorary pallbearers will be James Sanders and John Gulino. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6 pm -8 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, February, 2, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10 am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
