Thomas Calvin Robert, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of White Castle, died Monday, July 23, 2018, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor at the age of 94. He retired from Allied Chemical as an electrical engineer and was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Mr. Robert was a World War II Veteran serving with U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death are his parents, Willie E. Robert Sr. and Heloise Duhe Robert; his wife, Virginia B. Jordan Robert; a sister, Eloise Robert Babin and four brothers, Willie Jr., Elie, Stanley and Richard Robert.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave. Baton Rouge, on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 9:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, and the nurses and staff at Ollie Steele Burden Manor and Amedisys Hospice for their loving care.
