Mr. Sumerlin is survived by, daughter, Rachel Darbonne (Tater); son, Adam Sumerlin (Erin); stepson, Jason Lyngaas (Misty); stepdaughter, Chantel Shirley (Clint); mother, Beatrice Marie Sumerlin; brothers, Ronnie (Debbie) and Freddie Sumerlin (Kara); brother in law, Hank Henagan; grandchildren, Kylie Sumerlin, Mariah Abshire (Krischan), Austin Vicknair and Jared Vicknair; great grandchildren, Kail Cline and Joycelynn Cline along with many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death, wife, Mary Sumerlin, father, Willie Sumerlin; sister, Connie Henagan and grand-daughter, Sommer Lyngaas. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 9:00am until funeral service time of 10:00am.
