Vera Rose Paul HudsonA native of De Ville, LA and longtime BR resident went to be with her Jesus on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the age of 93. Visitation will be at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Road on Saturday, February 27, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Carlton V. Hudson and her children, John C. and Marla Hudson, Charles E. and Brenda Hudson, Michael K. and Tana Hudson and James G. and Lisa Hudson, her ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Sinnie Deville Paul, and numerous brothers and sisters. "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life." John 6:47.
