Warren Guy Samuel

Guy Samuel went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. He was 57, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Zachary. Survived by his son, Warren Samuel; daughter, Reagan Samuel; mother, Mrs. T. Norris Samuel Jr., of Zachary; sister, Suzanne Samuel Booth and her husband, Gene; brothers, T. Norris "Tommy" Samuel III, of Zachary, and Jonathon Samuel and his wife, Debbie, of Clinton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, T. Norris Samuel Jr. Guy was employed by Total Safety SSP as a safety professional services manager. He was an LSU graduate and a member of First Presbyterian Church. Guy was an avid outdoorsman and known for his exemplary faith, making lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to be touched by his warmth, generosity and friendship. He was tirelessly and utterly devoted to his family, especially his children, and will be greatly missed. Visitation at First Presbyterian Church, 763 North Blvd., on Saturday, June 26, from 11 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Dr. Gerrit Dawson, the Rev. S. Hunter Gray and Jonathon Samuel, pastor. Interment in Young Family Cemetery. Arrangements by Rabenhorst Funeral Home.
