William “Bill” Patrick Eskew peacefully passed away on July 20, 2022 at the age of 70. Born to Ralph Allen Eskew, Sr. and Patricia Ann “Monnie” Gremillion Eskew on May 16, 1952, he was a native of Alexandria, LA, and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Bill was the loving and devoted father of Patrick James Eskew (Emily Messina Eskew) and adoring grandfather to Elise, Andrew, Claire, and Olivia Eskew of New Orleans. Bill was first and foremost an architect, having graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Architecture. He began his career with John Desmond & Associates and continued as a practicing architect until going to work for LSU as Director of Facility Resources and eventually Director of Facility Design. After his time as a project manager with the State of Louisiana, Bill was able to return to architectural practice as a partner at Eskew + Dang, LLC. Bill always considered himself an architect, artist, and a person who appreciated the beauty of creativity and design.
Bill is survived by four siblings, Charles E. “Eddie” (Eileen) Eskew, Jennings, LA; Mary Ann (Rusty) Lacy, Atlanta, GA; Sue Ellen (Phil) Bordelon, Lafayette, LA; Becky Lou (George) Bausewine, Alexandria, LA, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
