William Freddie Gardner, 72, loving husband, father, and doting grandfather, died Monday March 2, 2015. Mr. Gardner was retired from the U.S. Army, and LADOTD and worked for J.L. Witt Associates. Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Florence Gardner, sister Betty Sue Gardner and Half brother Gerald Gardner. Survivors: wife, Virginia Gardner, Son, Michael Gardner, Daughter, Melanie Gardner, Step-son, Shane Price. Grandson Gardner Charles. Brothers Kenny and wife Jeannine and Jerry and wife Kathryn. Sister Rosemary Gardner. Sisters-in-law and brothers -in-law Joycelyn and Steve Rayburn and Larry and Connie Lichtenberg. Mother-in-law Carrie Lichtenberg and Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday March 6, 2015 5-9PM. Funeral services 12 noon Saturday March 7, 2015 at Greenoaks Funeral Home with Entombment to follow in Garden of Apostles Mausoleum at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Michael Gardner, Stephen Rayburn, Brad Smith, Jeffrey Jones, Rodney Davis and Kirk Kees. Honorary Pallbearers Shane Price, Gardner Charles, Kenny Gardner, and Jerry Gardner. In lieu of flowers the family request fruit trees, to be planted at Mr. Gardner’s camp.
