Sgt. Major William E. Bill McCutcheon (Ret. Army Reserve)

Bill, age 71, of Watson, LA, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, in his home. He retired from Waste Management. He is remembered as a loving and loyal husband, caring father, the best grandfather and friend. He was born September 24, 1943, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Robert and Mae McCutcheon. His interests included cruising in his Shelby GT, spending quality time with his wife, and visiting with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Joan McCutcheon of 26 years, 4 children, 3 sons; Will Jr., Chris and wife Tammy, Ken and wife Tammy, and 1 daughter; Danielle Taylor, stepchildren, Johnny Bradley and wife Jackie, Terri Piercy, and Robin Bradley Brown, 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, 2 sister-in -laws; Pat Cavalier and Peggy McCutcheon, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; Robert and Mae McCutcheon, 2 sisters; Esther Lee Moran and Jennie Mae Smith, 1 brother; Robert James McCutcheon, and 1 step granddaughter, Amanda Brown. The pallbearers are Cody Bradley, David Brown, Tyler McCutcheon, Josh McCutcheon, RJ McCutcheon, and David Robertson. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 11:00 am until the funeral service begins at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
