An amazing father, husband and friend, lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006. Wilsonowned AA Unlimited signs for nearly 30 years -- following a long career at Dow Chemical. A 1962 graduate ofIstroumaHigh School, he attendedSoutheasternLouisianaUniversityand was deeply rooted in the Baton Rougecommunity. He is survived by his wife of more than 43 years, Elva Allen Howell; his three children, Wil Howell of Central, husband of Sonja Howell, Cristy Howell Hayes of Spring, Texas, wife of Gary Hayes, and Wendy Howell Freeman of Monroe, wife of Jamie Freeman; three grandchildren, Alexander Hayes, Matthew Hayes and Jonah Howell; and his father, Cecil Charles Hubbard. He was best known for his business integrity and devotion to friends and family. His quiet strength and warm smile will be deeply missed. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m.at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd.
