Alfred "Sonny" Ernest Wukasch, 79, of Channelview, Texas passed away on February 26, 2020 of natural causes. Sonny was born in Port Arthur, Texas on February 8, 1941. He graduated from Channelview High School in 1958. Sonny served honorably with the United States Air Force. Sonny was married to Ilda M. Felscher (Oogie) on September 9, 1960; they were married for 59 years.
Sonny worked as a civil structural designer in the chemical and oil industries. He enjoyed flying airplanes, riding motorcycles and playing the guitar. He was also actively involved with his church.
Sonny is survived by wife, Oogie Wukasch; brother, Louis Wukasch; sons, Chris Wukasch and wife Judy, Ernie Wukasch and wife Jeanne; daughter, Jennifer Ben Messaoud and husband Zied; grandchildren, Bonnie Muston, Nancy Vernon, Victoria Wukasch, Arielle Wukasch, Miranda Wukasch, Connor Smith, Nicholas Wukasch; great grandson Tate Griffin and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
