
She was a member of Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church, and The Solomon Barrow chapter of The Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Anna was a descendant of both the Wright and Busch families, original settlers of this area.
She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and accomplished artist. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was affectionally known as “Pur Pearl” by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedarcrest Cemetery with Rev. John W. Wade officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband D. E. Thomas Sr.; son, Allen Daniel Thomas; parents, Allen and Tula Wright; sisters, Louise Enderli and Alvie Nance. She is survived by her son & daughters-in-law, D. Ed & Patsy Thomas of Baytown and Donna Thomas of Deer Park; grandchildren and spouses, Kathleen & Woody Wade of Mount Vernon, Texas, Gary Edwin & Rockell Thomas of Baytown, Karen & Ed Platt of Sugarland, Jane Henson & Gene Berkman of Riverside, Calif., John D. & Shirley Thomas of Deer Park, and Tony & Ann Thomas of Kemah; 16 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; brother-in-law, Edgar Enderli and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends, in particular the Seidensticker and Spenrath families of Comfort, Texas.
