

She grew up around Pineville, Louisiana then moved to Lake Providence, Louisiana, where she graduated from Lake Providence High School. She taught dancing and owned her own studio in Monroe, Louisiana. She fronted a band as a singer in Sherman, Texas, then married Earnest A. Prince on Feb. 1, 1949 in Marshall, Texas. The family lived in several places including Houston and Longview, then moved to Baytown in 1970. Annie loved spending time with her family. She also loved shopping for that special dress.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew W. Hunt and Audrey E. Rogers and sister, Rosemary Hunt. Survivors include her husband, Earnest Prince of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Ruth Ann Prince of Friendswood; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and William Stegall of Dayton; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Bernard J. Gonciarz of Rockville, Maryland; grandchildren, William Coady Stegall and wife Stacey of Dayton and Marshall Prince of Friendswood; great grandchildren, Tanner Stephens and William Robert Stegall and step great grandson, Damion Mullins.
There will be no visitation. The family will have a private burial at White Cemetery in Highlands.
