Beatrice Arismendez

Beatrice Arismendez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the age of 93. Beatrice was born on July 29,1932, in Marlin, Texas, and was a longtime resident of Baytown. She married the love of her life, Jose Arismendez on May 23, 1949 and spent the next 55 years together until his passing in 2004.

In her younger years, Beatrice worked hard alongside her husband, prepared delicious meals, and enjoyed visiting her siblings. As their family grew, she devoted her time to her family and helped care for their grandchildren. Beatrice was a woman of strong conviction, and unwavering faith. She loved her family deeply.

In her later years, she enjoyed sitting outside with her plants, crocheting, watching telenovelas and movies, traveling, and loving on her cat. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was extremely proud of each of them and their accomplishments.

Beatrice was proceeded in death by her husband Jose Arismendez; daughters Rosa Arismendez and Mary Esquivel; sons Andres Arismendez and Jose Juan Arismendez; grandsons Noe Aguilar Jr. and Jose Cruz Negrete Jr.; and granddaughter Virginia Lazo. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory Maria Negrete, Dalia Hernandez, Cristina Sanchez and husband Jesus Faz, Carolyn Juarez and husband Jose; Melissa Munoz and husband Ricardo; and Manuel Arismendez; 28 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and many other relatives.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the providers who helped care for Beatrice.

Her absence is deeply felt and she is greatly missed. May she rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord.

A visitation will be held at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, located at 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX, 77521, on December 8, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A rosary will take place at the same location on December 8, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The funeral mass will be conducted at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1124 Beech St, Baytown, Texas 77520, on December 9, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The committal will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, located at 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, TX, 77521, on December 9, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
