Letter from Eric Hernandez to his Mother:
I Love you mom, I know you wont ever see this but it brings me some comfort that I can express how much I love you, it hurts me so much to think how I'll go on without you and I want you to never be in pain, and if that means leaving me and my dad and the babies and Cornelia, then do it, you've given me everything a mom can and I haven't... returned the favor, I've been ungrateful to you and I realize that you never know what you have until you lose it, I promise to be good and I'll look after Maddie and everyone, but to some extent I'm not ready to be without my mommy. I love you mom and it breaks my heart that I cant talk to you as you leave me, and it breaks me to see you in pain, you are alive as I'm typing this but i feel you slowly leaving, You brought me the greatest kind of happiness mommy, I love you and I'm selfish for wanting to keep you from freeing your spirit, promise to look after us and i promise to never forget about you, I LOVE YOU MOMMY
