Where she lived until 1994. Her parents were Willis Grigsby and Bertha Underwood Grigsby. She was the 2nd of 5 childrens.
She attended Tullulah High School where she earned her High School Diploma on May 24,1957. After graduation, she began a career as waitress at Scarborough Drug Store/Soda Fountain, Holiday Inn laundry room.
She lived in Dardanelle Arkansas, Tullulah Louisiana(1943),Baytown Texas (1960). She was married to Thomas Milton Monasco on Feb. 28,1964 at 219 Greghem Baytown Tx 77520. She was a member of Peace Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. Devoted Christian of the Pentecostal faith believing in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the power of God in the individuals life. Her special friends where her husband, children, pastors, Brother and Sister Marcus, Brother and Sister Grant. She was involved in Peace Tabernacle UPC in which she served 20 years as Bus Ministry Coordinator from 1974-1994.
She was humble, honest, helpful, compassionate, and faithful. The most important event in her life was her salvation/ baptism of the Holy Ghost, her marriage, the birth of her children, and the birth of grandchildren. Her favorite past times are crossword puzzles, trimming yard bushes, phone Ministry for church, and witnessing, spending time with family. Her favorite music was Christian, Gospel Hymns, Southern Gospel(The Cathedrals).
She is preceded in Death by father Willis Grigsby, mother Bertha Grigsby, brother Boyd Grigsby, brother Wilburn Grigsby, sister-in-law Carolyn Grigsby, nephew Bobby Grigsby, niece Michelle Grigsby.
She is survived by husband Thomas Milton Monasco, sons, Michael Monasco, Charles Monasco, daugher-in-law Michelle Monasco; grandkids, Pamela Monasco and Thomas Monasco and wife Ashley; great-grandkids, Kaden Lathrop, Michael Reece Monasco, Jaxon Monasco, Lillian Monasco; brothers, Lloyd Grigsby and Charles Grigsby; nephews, Terry Grigsby, Rodney Grigsby, Mark Grigsby, Pat Grigsby, Kenneth Grigsby and nieces Sheila Grigsby, Ladonna Grigsby, and Jo Grigsby.
