He was a man of great wisdom and honor. He always did everything he could to help others. Billy had an immense passion for golf and his family.
He was an employee of Bayer (Convestro) for 32 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Zelda Castleberry; his parents, Bernard and Eddie Mae Castleberry; and his sister, Jeanette Eubanks.
He is survived by his brother, RC Castleberry; 2 daughters Alicia Bloch and her husband Steve Bloch, Sharon Pruett and her husband Kevin Pruett; 6 grandchildren, Karen Hudson, Chris Bloch, Trevor Bloch, Samantha Hinnant and her husband Drew Hinnant, Paige Pruett, and Taylor Pruett; 8 great children, Ella Hudson, Aislyn Pruett ,Olivia Bloch, Luke Bloch, Liam Bloch ,Lily Bloch, Emma Hinnant, and Liam Hinnant.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr, Baytown, Texas 77521 on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral service will take place in the Chapel of Navarre Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10:30 am, with interment and military honors to follow in Brookside Memorial Park, Houston, Texas.
