Bobbie Jane Fenton Wimmer was born August 10, 1929 in Baytown, Texas. She joined her parents, John Fenton and Zelma Grayless, her step-mom, Ravynel Fenton, her husband, Roy Wimmer and granddaughter Cristi Madere in heaven on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Bobbie lived her entire life of 96 years in Baytown. She and Roy were married for 64 years when he passed away. They had three daughters, Patricia Streeter of Irvine, California, Becky Perry of LaPlace, Louisianna and Vicki Stansbury of Baytown. She had seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Bobbie was an active member of Cedar Bayou Grace Methodist Church from the time it was Grace Methodist. She was involved with several volunteer programs with the church over the years, especially active with the food pantry at Grace Methodist. Even into her 90's when she was unable to attend services, she continued to write prayer cards every month.
Bobbie worked several years for the Goose Creek school system at different school cafeterias.
She was very socially active with several clubs and groups, making lifetime friends with organizations like the Pinehurst Garden Club. She especially enjoyed playing games. She and Roy were members of a "42 Club" for many years. Later she played Progressive Rummy with another set of friends. Even after that group stopped, she continued hosting games at home for other friends who were all decades younger than her. She still managed to win convincingly quite often.
Bobbie had a quick wit and was a kind, loving, generous person. She worried about others in need and always tried to help them.
