Bobby C. Aiken

Bobby C. Aiken, age 89, of Baytown, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, peacefully in his home. Bobby was born in Sinton, TX, on January 17, 1932 to H.E. and Ellie Aiken Sr. He was married to I. Jean Benton Aiken for 70 years.

Bobby worked and retired from Goodyear Chemical Company in Houston, Texas, after 37 years. Bobby was a very zealous person. During his lifetime he worked construction, rough necked in the oil fields, wired homes, drove a milk truck, and built three homes for himself and Jean through the years.

Bobby was a member of the church of Christ at Pruett and Lobit Streets in Baytown, TX. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and a good 42 game with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by; his parents, sisters; Nelva Peyton, Maxine Wagner, Christine Crawford, Vivian Moore, Tommie Jean Whitehead, brother; H.E. Aiken Jr. (Sonny)

He is survived by; his wife, Jean Aiken, sister; Patsy Jones and husband Jerry, sister-in-law; Polly Aiken, children; Brenda Askew and husband Keith, Sharlett Aiken, Bobby Aiken Jr, Connie Butler and husband Weldon, Dave Aiken and wife Theda as well as 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous of nieces and nephews.

Bobby loved his many family and friends.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home.
