Bobby Dale Brand

Bobby Dale Brand, known to all of us as ""Pappy"" passed away Friday, February 13, 2009. Bobby was born in Baytown, TX May 12, 1946 to Daniel and Katie Brand. Bobby was employed with Rhodia, Inc. in Baytown, TX for 33 years.

Anyone who knew him knew that he loved to tell all about his years of hunting and fishing. He was always full of life and had a sense of humor and a smile that was contagious to everyone. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone he could help. One of the many loves of his life was all of his precious babies, his pups. He had a lot of charisma and wittiness about him. Talking to Bobby, whether in a crowd or one on one, he always had stories I guarantee you have never heard, leaving you to wonder. He enjoyed stretching his stories to the limit. A few of his many passions were deer hunting and fishing. He loved the hill country and was always wanting to take a little vacation, but some how it always turned out, just one more day, just one of course.

His family was the most important above all. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Brand; nephew, Barry Brand; great granddaughter, Andrea Kayle; and father-in-law, Rayford West. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Sharon Brand of Baytown, TX; parents, Daniel and Katie Brand of Baytown, TX; children, Bryan Brand and wife Amanda of Seabrook, TX; Kimberly Brand of Baytown, TX, Jana Nelson and husband Roy of Baytown, TX, Sally Davis and husband Joe of Crosby, TX and Angela Xeller and husband Charles of League City, TX; brothers, Donnie Brand and wife Dolly of Whitehouse, TX and Max Brand and wife Sharon of Baytown, TX; grandchildren, Harrison and Courtland, Chance and Joseph, Kade, Dallas, Clint and R. J., Aimee, Genna and Olivia; great grandchildren, Trevor, Karsun, Lylah Claire and Halle' Kay; mother-in-law, Mary Kate West of Alto, TX; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Reece Coppenger of Fort Worth, TX.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Bro. Dave Lancon officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the West Family Cemetery in Alto, TX.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chance Beavins, Bryan Brand, David Watson, Roy Nelson, Joe Davis, Kade Prince, Rhett Staner, and Ruben Barrera. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Miller, Donnie Brand, Charles Xeller and Max Brand.

Bobby has earned his ""Angel Wings"" and is now with his heavenly Father. He will be greatly missed always and forever. There is no more pain or suffering. ""We Love You"".
