Carl M. Glenn, Jr.

Carl had served his country in the US Navy, flew the US flag proudly, and loved his family dearly. At the company where he worked for over 40 years, he earned the love and respect of his co-workers. He was a faithful and steadfast husband to Violetta, his wife of 39 years. Carl and Violetta shared the home they built with Jake, the lab, Cammie, the cocker, Murphy, the cat, Rosie, the chicken, and with all of us who came to sit with him on the back porch, watch the ducks on the pond, and enjoy that tiny glimpse of heaven. Carl's optimism and love of life was evident to all who knew him, and we will miss the laughter he brought to our lives.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sammie Glenn. He is survived by his wife Violetta Glenn; daughter, Kelli Ford and husband Randy; grandchildren, Cody and Casey Ford; great –granddaughter Avery Ford; Sisters Margaret Mechinus and husband Joe and Jan Valecka and husband Bob, and many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Carl.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am at Navarre Funeral Home 2444 Rollingbrook Dr. Baytown TX 77521 with burial to follow at Houston National Cemetery.
