Born on March 19, 1952, in Baytown, TX, Carole was a life-long member of Second Baytown, a graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School, and most importantly, a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. The ""rock"" of the family, Carole spent the majority of her life raising children. She loved spending time outdoors while Porter fished and her kids played and swam. She enjoyed many family road trips and camping expeditions, always with a book in her hand. Likewise, she adored her three grandsons, who called her ""Sweetie,"" and she relished any opportunity to watch them participating in sports or school activities. Over the years, she was actively involved at her church, serving her community in many different ways.
Carole was a steadfast, devoted, and caring person who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tommy Clements officiating.
