

Carson Vickers, 52, of Cove, Texas, passed away Sunday night on April 3rd 2011 in his home with his loving wife by his side. He fought many years of suffering with health problems, and in the end was diagnosed with cancer.
He was born in Uvalde, Texas on August 8, 1958, living in Cove, Texas for the last 15 years. He worked in the TDI unit for Bayer as a production technician for 25 years and became disabled with his health 12 years ago. He received many certificates from Bayer for 20 years of perfect attendance, and for Technical Improvement Suggestions.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as: hunting, boating, fishing, grilling, fish fries, crawfish boils and gardening with his family and friends. Also, he enjoyed spending a lot of time reading and improving his knowledge of military, armory, hunting, and fishing. He fully enjoyed spending time with his Wife, his dog Sunshine, and his grandchildren especially watching cartoons (SpongeBob) with them! Being a Baptist Christian with Jesus in his heart, he had patience kindness and was very caring, always putting others before himself all the way to the end.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, several Uncles, and his Labrador Retrievers (man’s best friend) Sandy, Baby, Bo, and Goldie.
Carson is survived by the love of his life Annette Vickers, Parents Larry and Joyce Vickers, Sister Cindy Eldridge, sons Curtis, Michael, and daughter Courtney, Grandchildren Jacob 8, Madysen 2, Michael III 5, Corey 3, Khyla 8, Cade 5, Kearston 3, and many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws as well as many nieces and nephews.
Carson did not want to have any type of funeral services He wanted to celebrate his life with a big party that will be held at a future date.
