Chad Elton Hill Sr.

Chad Elton Hill Sr., 53, of Mont Belvieu was born December 19, 1955 in Baytown and passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 in a local hospital. He was a 1974 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and was a former Bayer, Inc. employee. He was a member of the Baptist faith, the One Shot Scholarship Association, Baytown Cares and the Billiard Congress of America.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Loyce Hill and brother, Pat Hill. He is survived by his wife, Terry Hill, son, Chad Hill Jr., and daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Joey Fountain, all of Mont Belvieu; father, Elton Hill and sister, Kim Futrell, both of Baytown; grandchildren, Lexis and Cade Hill and Blake Fountain; and nieces and their spouses, Allison and Brad Tyra of Baytown and Ashlee and Mark Heffner of Pearland.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Harp officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Smith, Robin Tolleson, Jerry Isaacks, Larry Jones, Billy Williams and Reggie Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Thompson, Mark Stubbs and Ken West.

Chad's family would like to extend a special ""thank you"" to Dr. Sarma S. Challah and his staff and Dr. Yulan Jankowski for their care during his illness.
