Clyde E. ""Pe Pa Tipton

Clyde E. ""Pe Pa"" Tipton passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 at his home in Trinity at the age of 88. Clyde was born on March 17, 1926 in Pelly, Texas to the late Thomas and Lola Tipton. Clyde quite school in the tenth grade to join the United States Navy where he proudly served during World War II. Pe Pa loved fishing, football (no matter who was playing) and family. He was a kind man who will be dearly missed.

Clyde was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Alene and two sons, Mark and Colby Tipton. He is survived by his daughter, Chris Fowler; grandchildren and their spouses, Carrie and Daniel Mays, Catherine Fuller, Candice Fowler, Alicia Tipton, Tammy Tipton, Brian Tipton, Amie Eiland, Brent Tipton and Tiffany Durdin; numerous great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

The family will receive friends in Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Eddie Norris will officiating. Burial will be in Cedarcrest Cemetery.

Honoring Clyde by serving as pallbearers will be Buddy Smith, Curtis Smith, Danny Maxwell, Richard Maxwell, Larry Maxwell and Jimmy Ford.
