

Curtis Junge, 95, of Baytown, TX was born June 8, 1915 in Lufkin and passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010 in a local hospital. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #1192 and was recognized as an Unsung Hero by The Baytown Sun.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Ila Ruth Junge and Mary Kimball Junge; infant daughter, Latrucia Ann Junge; and brothers, Prentis Junge and R. B. Junge. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Janis Junge of Baytown; grandchildren, Kirsten Junge Pittman and husband, Edward of Buckeye, AZ, Kirby Junge and wife, Kenlyn of Dallas and Kevin Junge and wife, Sharon of Fort Worth; great grandchildren, Dane and Katy Pittman and Lily Junge; best friend, Doris Nicholson of Baytown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Memorial Baptist Church chapel with Rev. Brad Hoffmann officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Gann Cemetery in Clawson, TX in Angelina County near Lufkin with Rev. Chris George officiating.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, 600 W. Sterling Ave., Baytown, TX 77520.
