Daphne was born October 19, 1965 in New Orleans, LA but spent most of her childhood in the Houston area. She was a 1984 graduate of La Porte High School. Daphne moved to Baytown in 1987 after marrying her husband, Jeff Gregory. And on March 15, 1988, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Christy Michelle. Together as a family they were baptized at Wooster Baptist Church.
After spending many years at home being a devoted mother to her young daughter, she decided to venture back into the work place, taking a job with Sea River Maritime at the Baytown Exxon Dock office.
Daphne loved spending time with her family and many friends. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining at home, often topping it off with a challenging game of Pictionary which brought us many memorable laughs. She loved music, photography, and spending time at the beach. Her charm and charisma captivated everyone she came in contact with.
She had a passion and enthusiasm for life that was truly inspiring. Daphne’s thoughtfulness, kindness and beautiful smile touched many people and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband: Jeff Gregory; daughter: Christy Gregory; mother: Karen Dunlap; father: Charles Faulk; sisters: Kim Holloway and husband Butch, Danielle Byrom and husband Emmet; sisters-in-law: Annie Kettlehut, Marlene Campbell and husband Gary; dearest-closest friend: Teresa Martin-Poplaski; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
