Darla went to Ross Sterling High School and attended Blackhawk University in Illinois. She worked for 34 years at Exxon Mobil, Baytown in the refinery as a mechanical craftsman. She loved her horses and dogs, raising Quarter bred horses and Tibetan Spaniels.
Darla is predeceased by her father, Walter Lee Hill and mother, E. Virginia Hill; Uncle, Jim Hill and aunt, Janita Hill.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney DeLoss and their combined children, Stephanie and Bryan Martinez, Steven and Brooke McCauley, Luke and Stephanie DeLoss, Justin and Anna DeLoss and brother, John Robert Hill. She loved her grandchildren so much; Amy, Whitney, Braxton, Waverly, Brooklynn, Wimberly, Wyatt, West and Rhett.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, TX 77521.
