Daryl Wayne Roberts

Daryl was born June 6, 1961 in Harris County, Houston, Texas. He was the son of the late James Oliver Roberts III and Reba Jeanette Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Oliver Roberts III, brother, Michael Eugene Roberts, paternal grandparents James Oliver Roberts, Jr. and Vivian Roberts, maternal grandparents Milton Williamson and Mary Margaret Williamson.

Daryl is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia Drewery Roberts, son Justin Roberts, wife Jenifer, daughter Shannon McSpadden, husband Heston, grandson Witten, mother Jeanette Roberts, and sister Paula Nelson-McWilliams, husband Joe; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends and extended family.

He was a 1980 graduate of Furr High School and was a machinist for many years. Daryl had many passions outside of his family. He enjoyed the great outdoors including hunting and fishing. Most people would know and remember him for cooking BBQ on his smoker or boiling crawfish while enjoying an ice-cold Lone Star beer.

Friends may visit with the family from 6 pm until 8 pm, Friday, April 16, 2021 at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 17, 2021 in the Navarre Funeral Home Chapel, with longtime family friend, Jimmy Tarbutton officiating. A graveside gathering will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park, 14659 East Frwy., Houston, TX 77015.

Pallbearers: Jamison Filer, Heston McSpadden, Chris Nelson, Sean Nelson, Justin Roberts, and Luke Tarbutton.
