Deborah Kay Day

Deborah "Debbie" Day, age 66, of Channelview, went to be with our Lord on February 21, 2026. She was born in Baytown on December 11, 1959. Debbie was a member of Channelview Senior Citizens and had a passion for ceramics and diamond art.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Day, Sr., her parents Wayne and Virginia Parkinson, brother Bud Parkinson, and sister Beverly Burkett.

Debbie is survived by her sister Coco Parkinson, her children April and John Day, Jr., Randy and Sarah Shaw, Jason Day, James and Jenny Day, Kelly and Rob Rothman, and her beloved pup Coco; her grandchildren Jared, Jade, Carlos, Zoey, Zada, Jessica S., Jessica D., Haley, James, Jaylynn, Jaycob, Journey, Seth, Devin, John, Tye, Josslynn, and Kyle; great grandchildren Bentley, Liam, and Ivory and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the kind expressions of sympathy and the love and support shown during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521, on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A visitation will also be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at South Drive Baptist Church, 15229 South Drive, Channelview, Texas 77530, on Friday, March 6, 2026, prior to the funeral service which will follow at 11:00 am at South Drive Baptist Church; the committal service will be at San Jacinto Memorial Park, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015, on March 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
