When my mom first moved into The Waterford a couple of years ago, Diana was one of the first residents we met.  She was such a nice lady and always had a smile.  She loved telling us she was from Baytown.

Diana was a member of the Randy  Busch family.  We loved the two children Diana  and Randy had, Charles and Ann.  We enjoyed many dinners and outings with them.  I loved going by their home in Baytown and playing with Charles and Ann.  Randy and Diana always had the children's bedrooms decorated so nicely.  Mother (Alma) and   Dad (Jack Busch) always enjoyed spending time with and loving   their Grandchildren, as did Aunt Jackie Jenson and Uncle Jepp Busch,  We have been so saddened by the difficulties and bad health Diana had in the later stages of her life.  We extend our love and sympathy to Ann and her Bradshaw family.  Love , Uncle Frank

I am so sorry for your loss. Diana was a good friend and Co-worker Queenie  as we called her was a great teacher at Northampton Elementary School. I was blessed to know and work with her. Hugs and prayers to all the family. May God comfort you at this difficult time.

My favorite memory is just spending time with her.

My favorite memory of Queenie is how much she loved animals and how she would out of her way to take care of a stray.

My favorite memory of Queenie was when she would tell the wait staff at the restaurants that the food was terribly good, and then seeing their reactions to her statement.

Queenie was such a loving person. Every time we were out, especially at restaurants, she always made the same joke to the waiters “The food was terribly good”. She loved all of her grandchildren but especially all of her cats. She probably didn’t love my dad’s jokes about being a dog and cat assassin…Queenie loved telling us all of her stories from past years and how she got her name Queenie. During our car rides, she would love to tell us about the songs on the radio. I miss her so much but knowing she is no longer suffering and is with God makes me feel at peace. I love and miss you so much Queenie.

My favorite memory with Queenie was every summer when my dad had SAC camp we would go over to Queenie and Pepop’s house and in the mornings we would all sit with each other and watch the Price is Right and talk about what we would do if we won. Then in the afternoon after lunch we would watch Let’s Make a Deal and Queenie always knew the answers and I think she definitely could’ve won. I will cherish these memories and moments with her forever-

My favorite memory of Queenie: every time we went out to eat, she would always tell the waiter after we were done eating, that it was terribly good. They would always be confused at first, but she would laugh and they knew she wasn’t upset.

My favorite memory of Queenie is when we went to her house during the summer, while Mom was at work.  We watched the Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal. We had lots of fun.

One thing that comes to mine is, when she would sit in her rocking chair and have me sit either next to her on the ottoman and she’d let me help her with her crosswords. Or watching game shows in the morning and SVU, NCIS at night when we would stay the night.

Some memories I have of Queenie are like when we would spend a while getting ready and it would always be the exact same outfit that she loved to wear. And when she’d come down to Baytown and every single time, we’d go to Outback Steakhouse. She always had to get the blooming onion.

Dear Bob, Ann, and Charles,     How can I mention all of the memories  "D" and I have going all the  way back to Memorial Baptist little kids choir, thru elementary school,  REL days, the Lee Brigadiers...after college, we taught together for over 20 years at Pumphrey.  Double dated a bunch, shared so many secrets over the years, and enjoyed our children together.   I'll always remember after school trips from Lamar Elem. down to my house and on see Monga and Groddy and get a slice of cheese and a coke.   My memories are many and wonderful.  I  was blessed to be her "old friend".  ......"D", I will miss you, but I will cherish our memories.   My thoughts and prayer are with your family.

I worked for her for years. I loved her very much; she was a very sweet and loving person... I miss her every day. It hurts so much not to see her anymore. A kiss to heaven, Diana!!! 💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏 You hurt me so much, beautiful! I miss your kisses and hugs 😪💔….. Waterford at Baytown.

Queenie was such a sweet and loving Grandma. When the Alzheimer’s began making things hard to remember, she still tried so hard to make us laugh and smile. I will never forget how kind she was and how much she loved her cats.

Queenie was such a bright light in her light house. She loved animals of all kinds. I don’t think there isn’t an animal she could ever not like. Queenie was the best Grandma to have, no one could compare.
