

Don Chapman, 71, of Baytown was born September 23, 1935 in Lamesa and passed away Friday, September 7, 2007 at home. He was a member of Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God Church and retired from Bayer Corp. He loved to garden, paint, hunt, and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lillian Chapman and is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Chapman of Baytown; daughters and son-in-law, Deborah and Kenneth Davis of Houston and Diane Paulsen of Florence, KY; sisters and brother-in-law, Louise Willborn and Hazel Barnes, both of Big Spring, Merle and Bobby Roman of Midland, and Shirley Paige of Coahoma; grandchildren, Marcus Mulkey and Joel Mulkey and wife Leslie of Baytown and Davy Jackson and Andrea and Chelsea Paulsen, all of Florence, KY; great grandson, Brayden; and former son-in-law, Tommy Mulkey of Baytown.
Serving as pallbearers will be G. L. Eiland, Gerald Eiland, Tommy Mulkey, Davy Jackson, Marcus Mulkey, and Joel Mulkey. Honorary pallbearers will be H. L. Sanders, Ron Gilbert, and Gerald Partin.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.
