Dwight Ball

Dwight Ball, 58, of Baytown was born May 3, 1952 in Pine Bluff, AR and passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in a local hospital. He was a Vice President for LWL, Inc. He loved to fish, hunt, golf, and collect and restore old cars. He was a very compassionate man who would help anyone in need regardless of the circumstances. He lived life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ludie Ball and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alfred and Pearlie Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Ball of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Melissa Ball of Baytown and Lesley and Sissy Ball of Wallisville; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberley Ball and William Higginbotham of Baytown; mother and stepfather, Mattie and Bob Hodge of Aransas Pass; brothers and sisters-in-law, David Ball, Paul and Peggy Ball, and Billy Don and Pat Ball, all of Baytown and Kenneth and Marilyn Ball of League City; sister, Scarlett Ball of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Brittany Capps, Cody Ball, Sierra Fisher, Samantha Rosener, and Colten Ball; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
