

E. H. ""Bill"" Howell, 99, of Baytown was born October 1, 1911 in Elkhart, TX and passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 in a local hospital. He retired from Exxon with 45 years of service and was a member and past master of the Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #1192, where he received his 65 year pin last year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Exa Howell; wife of 75 years, Grace Lee Howell; brothers, Roy, Luther, Travis, Jack, and Carson Howell; and sons-in-law, Phil Badillo, C. D. Allen, and Howard Warren. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Mary Allen of Baytown, Barbara and Collins Steward of Katy, and Carol Badillo of Baytown; brothers and sisters-in-law, O. J. ""Dixie"" Howell, Herschel and Gloria Howell, and Thelma Howell, all of Baytown; and 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services with Masonic rites will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart with his son-in-law Collins Steward officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Masons from Goose Creek Masonic Lodge #1192 and Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge #321.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the Arabia Shrine Hospital Benefit, Shriners Hospitals for Children, P. O. Box 20625, Houston, TX 77225-0625, www.shrinershq.org
