Ellis Calno Collier, 85, was born July 10, 1940, in Liberty, and passed away peacefully on Saturday March 7, 2026. Calno will be remembered as a hard-working, honest, humorous man whose presence brought steadiness, laughter, and warmth to those around him.
Calno was an Army Veteran and worked as a pipefitter for over 30 years in Pasadena, TX. He took pride in a life built on showing up, doing the job right, and sharing a good laugh along the way.
Calno enjoyed being with his family. He especially enjoyed telling stories about his job and his antics with his friends—stories that will continue to be retold with smiles, because they carried his spirit so well.
Calno is preceded in death by his sister Myra Daughty; his parents, Bedford Collier and Mae Daigle.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lou Anna; his daughter Yvonne and her wife Connie Windham; his son Kenneth and his wife Alicia; grandsons Dustin Manuel, Chance Collier; granddaughter Amanda Albert; great grandsons Tristian Bird, Christopher Coyle, Dusty Manuel and great granddaughter Stella Albert.
