Erik Antonio Mendoza

Erik Antonio Mendoza, 18, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He was born June 21, 1995 in Baytown, lived in Baytown his entire life, attended Robert E. Lee High School and was a painter for the Pertin Company.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Gensis Mendoza and grandparents, Jose Meza, Antonia Garcia and Baltazar Mendoza.

Survivors include his parents, Tony Mendoza and Alma Meza; brother, Brian Mendoza, sisters, Brianna, Kate and Natalie Mendoza; daughters, Abigail and Isabelle Mendoza; mother of his children, Chassity Barnete; grandmother, Esperanza Meza; uncles, Jesse and Jose Meza, Jr.; aunt, Juanita Flores and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents and family members.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014 at Navarre Funeral Home. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Miguel Contreras officiating. Burial will follow at Cedardcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Mendoza, Jesse Meza, Jose Meza, Jr., Alan Flores, Christian Flores, Jesse Meza, Jr., Ryan Dominguez and Alejandro Lopez.
