Evelyn G. Jennings

Evelyn was a long time member of Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, and she loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, and going to the ranch in Uvalde, TX where she would sit on the porch watching the deer and turkeys.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gene C. Jennings; by her parents; son, Chris Jennings; brothers, WR Mize and Melvin Mize; and by her brother-in-law, James Casey.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Dennis Jennings; grandchildren, Bryan Jennings and wife Audrey, Brooke Nettles and husband Cody; sisters, June Casey, Dorothy Fitzhenry and husband Calvin; and sister-in-law, Ethyl Mize.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollllingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, January 7, 2022, at Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church, 3700 N. Hwy. 146, Baytown, TX 77520. Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, TX.
