Florene Elizabeth Edwards

Nancy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a lifelong resident of Highlands TX. As a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Highlands Nancy loved the Lord and enjoyed spreading his word. She was an avid traveler and loved camping. Spending time with her family and friends was an important part of her life. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Ruth Woodall and husband, Tex and Jeanie Carmody; son-in-law, Gary Norris; grandchildren, Jessica Wooten and husband, Josh, Justin Wooddall and wife, Misty, Stacey Wensing and husband, Mike, Kimberley Carmody, Jennifer Clary and husband, Jimmy, and Dane Norris; great-grandchildren, Addison, Jackson and Emerson Wooten, Wilson and Peyton Woodall, Myles and Zoie Hebert, Austin Wensing, Zachary, Nichole and Merideth Clary and Ian Norris as well as numerous family and friends..

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Marvin Edwards; daughter, Kathy Norris as well as all of her siblings.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Navarre Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas with a funeral service to follow. Burial will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston.
