Francisco Javier Martinez

Francisco Javier Martinez, 36, entered into the arms of his Heavenly Father on January 19, 2025. He was born in Houston, Texas, on November 15, 1988, and graduated from Cypress Ridge High School in 2007.

He is survived by his loving wife, Yesica Martinez, and their children: Isaac, Israel, and Nathaniel. He is also remembered by his two younger brothers, Jose and Jonathan Chairez; his grandfather, Genaro Martinez; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Francisco is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Mercedes Martinez; his mother, Norma Martinez; and his sister, Joselynn Chairez.

Francisco’s kindness and generosity touched everyone he met. He had a unique ability to make others feel like they were the most important person in the room. His witty sense of humor and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew him. A selfless soul, he never expected anything in return for his kindness. The moments he cherished most were those spent with family and friends.

Francisco had a love for simple pleasures. He enjoyed playing poker, fishing, and spending time outdoors. At every family gathering or barbecue, he could always be found at the heart of the celebration—behind the grill, cooking up delicious meals with a smile, in great spirits, and making others laugh.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and countless memories that will continue to bring warmth to all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 PM, with a graveside service from 3:30 to 4:30 PM.
