Frank Eugene Tucker (Gene), 70, of Dayton, TX passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. He was born February 8, 1953, in Beaumont, TX and has lived in Dayton, TX for the last 2 and a half years after moving from Baytown, TX where he had previously lived for 32 years.

Gene enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors and playing the slots. His greatest love was spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife and best friend of 29 years Sylvia R. Tucker, parents.

Clayton and Lillian (Sue) Tucker, sister Martha Gail Lakey and brother-in-law Timothy Lakey.

Gene is survived by his loving wife Joyce Tucker of Beaumont, TX, his two sisters Denise Agee and her husband Jerry of Baytown, TX and Donna Wilburn of Vidor, TX: His brother from another mother, Gene Richey and wife Kay of Port Neches, TX.

Survivors include daughters, Melissa Dawsen and her husband Scott of Baytown, TX, Beth Jordan of Clinton, MO, Abbie Albin and her husband Bill of Clinton, MO, Amy Daniel and her husband Jake of Baytown, TX, Kimberly Cherry and her husband Michael of Dayton, TX, and Jenny Petter and wife Jessica of Baytown, TX.

Grandchildren, Pamela Thibodaux and her husband Paul of Dayton, TX, Hope Love and her husband Michael, Mason Dawsen and his wife April, and Addison Dawsen all of Baytown, TX. Dylan Dawsen and wife Rebecca of Deer Park, TX. Tierra Williams, Deana Oakes and her husband Dakota all of Clinton, MO. Savanna Wheatley and her husband Zachary and Sadie Albin of Clinton, MO. Dylan Baker, Matthew and Ava Daniel all of Baytown, TX. Nicholas Cherry of Dayton, TX as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Navarre Funeral Home Chapel, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521. Funeral service will be held at 10 am, Friday, February 9, 2024, at Navarre Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sterling White Cemetery, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, Texas 77562.

The pallbearers will be Hugh Dixon, Greg Perez, Tony Benton, Zachary Wheatley, Jessica Petter and Dylan Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Scott and Gene Richey.
